Well, Tool fans have become somewhat disgruntled and dismayed over the bands lack of activity in the the last decade. You could say they are restless and pissed off, actually. For whatever the reason, it’s takes this band a decade to make a new album, and it’s irritating as hell. Singer Maynard James Kennan has multiple other projects, including two other bands, and a winery and vineyard to attend to. However, he says it’s his other band mates that are the meticulous types, who want all of their albums to be perfect, hence the re-recording of songs, and the ‘stop and start’ efforts that seem to strangle these guys at times.
Well, anyway….we do have good news. Tool is touring this year, and there is a date in Chicago!
Yep, Tool will storm the Rosemont, Illinois Allstate Arena on June 8th, the last show on a 12 city tour. Tickets are on sale this Friday. Yes, we are excited, as you should be! Stay tuned for more details on how you can be there. So….no new album yet, but, we have a show to celebrate! More details soon on the X!
