Well, here we are again. Wondering why something like the shooting at the Orlando Nightclub can happen?!?!
For us, it hits extremely close to home… We ask you to join us at events all the time. Clubs, community events, concerts. So, when we heard about the shootings, it really makes us think about what we do and how truly precious life is.
This week, central Illinois will unite at vigils to remember those who lost their lives, and join together in solidarity that LOVE will overcome! Together, we can put an end to this madness.
Tonight at 6pm, the Central Illinois Interfaith Alliance and Peoria Proud will be hosting an event at Liberty Park!
The United Presbyterian Church of Peoria will also host a vigil from 5-7:30p on Tuesday at the church on West Northmoor Rd.
Stop with the politics and the finger pointing and take a moment to reflect on what we can do to end this! And join in solidarity to show the world that central Illinois is here for those who lost their lives and loved ones!
