105.7 The X is proud to have teamed up with the TAPS, to bring you a pet that is looking for its forever home! The Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) Animal Adoption Center and Shelter is a no-kill shelter that gives dogs, cats, puppies and kittens a home until permanent homes can be found.
Say hello to Darla! Darla is a sweet girl that has recently went on off-sites and let everyone dress her up — what a cutie, come meet this happy girl today. She’s super sweet and will make a great addition to your home.
Also, keep in mind when giving this holiday season that TAPS relies heavily on donations. Did you know that so far this year, they’ve used 12,750 pounds of dry dog food and 5,700 pounds of canned dog food? They’ve used 4,340 pounds of dry cat food and 1,910 pounds of canned cat food and have used A LOT of puppy pads and cat litter as well. In addition they have spent over $40,000 on individualized vet care, over $61,000 in medical supplies and over $60,000 on spay/neuters. It takes all of this and more to help re-home over 1600 animals this year. Please help TAPS continue to save lives.
