X Rockers! Happy New Year! Although Winter sucks, it does give us time to listen to great new music and artists as we navigate into 2025. One of those artists is Dexter And The Moonrocks, and their song that has lit a fire here in the last few weeks, “Sad In Carolina.” I love the garage-rock sound of these guys. Raw, earthy, great guitars and a sing along chorus. These dudes hail from Abilene, Texas, and they blend an awesome sound of southern rock, alternative, and a bit of that red-dirt-country vibe all in one awesome blender. This song is contagious as hell. Dexter and the Moonrocks are a burst of positive energy and raw southern alternative rock. Their fans call their music “Western Space Grunge”….and I get it! It’s my Pick of the Week! Happy 2025!
