On the heels of the anniversary of his death, an interview with Kurt Cobain has been set to animation by Studio Brussel. The YouTube posting claims the interview has been lost for 25 years (how many “lost” videos can we possibly have?) and was recorded on November 23rd, 1991 a few years before Cobain’s death. I twas also just as Nirvana’s Nevermind was exploding around the world. It’s a pretty standard interview, but Cobain does pay Dave Grohl a big compliment by saying, “The band is finally complete. All the other drummers we had pretty much sucked.”

What caught me by surprise was where Kurt claimed at the time that Grohl wasn’t much into writing music, imagine if that had never changed…
