Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters was a little kid when he discovered AC/DC. Just like most of us, it seems as if AC/DC has been here forever, and have been a band all of our lives. They were my first Rock band along with KISS that got me beyond excited about Rock N’ Roll. I still relish my 10th Christmas, when my Brother gave me a vinyl copy of “Highway To Hell”, which was a hilarious gift to open on Christmas morning! Tributes for Malcom Young have been pouring in for days. The Foo Fighters certainly did their part as well.
Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters honored the late Malcom Young of AC/DC, who passed away last week, with an amazing tribute in Mexico City. “We’re going to play some Rock and Roll for Malcom tonight”, Dave told the sold out audience at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City last week. The band stormed through an amazing version of “Let There Be Rock.” Somewhere, Malcom was smiling and Rockin’ out along with them! Check out the video.
