Guns N’ Roses reunion with the core original three, Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagen, has been nothing short of amazing in the last 18 months. They are the biggest touring machine in 2017, making the most money, and the shows have been heralded and praised by fans and critics alike. In the last week, Guns celebrated their 30th Anniversary of their legendary album, ‘Appetite For Destruction’, which was released this past week in 1987. Wow, that’s crazy. 30 years ago?
‘Appetite For Destruction’ was a multi million selling album, and cemented the band as heavy hitters in Rock, with the singles “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Welcome To The Jungle”, and “Paradise City” leading the way. You know the rest of the story. Last week, Guns celebrated that anniversary with a private, invitation only show at the legendary Apollo Theater in New York City. The band played a 29 song set, with loads of material coming from ‘Appetite.’ The show has some amazing video. ‘Appetite For Destruction’ has sold a whopping 30 million plus albums in it’s 30th year history, the biggest selling debut album in history. Rock!
