There are moments as a Rock DJ and Program Director that make you pause in your thoughts, and sit back and realize that you just might be witnessing something special with a song, or a band. I get that feeling once in a while, and when I do, I get motivated as all hell to share it with you, the Peoria Rock fans, the best in the Country. This is the case with the Frankenmuth, Michigan band, GRETA VAN FLEET, who, are all between 18 and 20 years of age, and have one of the most talked about singles of the year brewing at Rock radio.
GRETA VAN FLEET are four guys, or kids, depending on how you look at it. Joshua Kiszka on vocals, and his Brothers, Samuel Kiszka on bass, Jacob Kiszka on guitar, and best pal Daniel Wagner on drums. These guys are obviously influenced by Zeppelin, you hear a serious Robert Plant vibe with Josh’s singing ability. They have that raw, garage rock sound, with a dose of the White Stripes in there for good measure. Well, I am proud to announce that these guys are being featured on the X. Get ready for their debut single, “Highway Song”, it’s one bad ass Rocker. Future of Rock? Just maybe!
