The guys in Metallica are full of surprises this year, and their latest tour stop announcement is no exception. Yesterday, the band announced that the ‘WorldWired’ Tour will be making a visit in Iowa, for a personal invite show from Ashton Kutcher and NFL veteran Dallas Clark to benefit the citizens of Iowa. The show will be in Newton, Iowa, and will include a full show from headliners Metallica, and tour mates Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat.
The show is set to be staged at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, and tickets are going on sale on Ticketmaster on April 21st at 10am. This show benefits the ‘Native Fund’, an organization setup by Kutcher and Clark, both Iowa natives, to benefit ‘Iowans in need.’ Metallica had this to say about the invite, “We’re honored that Ashton and Dallas invited us to be a part of this special event and look forward to giving back to a state that has been so supportive of Metallica throughout our career.
