Pearl Jam was due to be inducted by their long time friend, and Rock icon Neil Young this past Saturday night at the Barclay’s Center in Brookyln for the ‘Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’. In his place, the famed and legendary late night TV icon and Pearl Jam lover David Letterman took his place.

Dave not only shared his love of the band, he also shared stories about his love of hearing live music on his late night show for 35 years, and also his love of his friendship of the band. He discussed Eddie Vedder playing and visiting on his 3rd to last show.

He also talked of Pearl Jam’s commitment to equality and human rights….and, oh’ yeah, all that amazing music. Check out Dave here. Pretty epic.
