Three Days Grace Announce Reunion With Former Singer Adam Gontier

Well, X Peoria Rock fans, ready for this one? Rock veterans Three Days Grace have announced that original singer Adam Gontier has re-joined the band. What? Yes…it’s true! Gontier sang with the band recently in Nashville, which surprised the fans in attendance, since it had been years since they were on the same stage together. The band also announced that current vocalist Matt Walst will also remain in the band, and sing along side Gontier, sharing lead vocal duties. The band is also recording new music for a new album, and plan on touring. As you Peoria X Rock fans know, Three Days Grace has had multiple #1 Rock songs, which include “I Hate Everything About You”, “Never Too Late”, and “Riot” to name a few. Exciting times indeed for the band!

On the reunion, Adam Gontier said the following: “I feel like it’s been seamless, better than we were expecting. It’s like we got back in a room together and picked up where we left off. We have been friends for so long it’s kind of natural to get back in the room together.”

Matt Walst echoes and adds “It’s been so much fun and inspiring making this record. Combining over 20 years of Three Days Grace and doing something that no band has ever done. I’m excited for the fans to hear it!”
