Well, X Peoria Rockers, Shinedown has done it again! They have notched their 18th #1 at Active Rock Radio this week with their lead single and title track “Planet Zero” from their forthcoming album out April 22 on Atlantic Records. The explosive and thought-provoking single is also Shinedown’s 17th on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs Chart, breaking a new record (which they also previously held) for the most #1s in the 40-year history of the chart and tying Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers for the second most Top 10s on the chart, behind only Foo Fighters. Last year Billboard named Shinedown #1 on their Greatest Of All Time Mainstream Rock Artists Chart. “Planet Zero” is the band’s sixth consecutive #1. Pretty fantastic details!
