Nava is a 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who was picked up by Tazewell Animal Control as a stray and not reclaimed.  TAPS pulled her from Tazewell Animal Control. Nava is friendly and energetic so shew will need a family that is able to physically manage her on a leash.  She seems to be human and dog friendly, cats unknown, but would probably due best in a home with older children.  She will also need continued work on her manners and obedience.
Nava is exhibit kennel stress and we would love to get her into a home before her behavior begins to deteriorate due to kennel life.  Applicants must be over 21, a homeowner, and have dog experience within the last 5 years to be a good fit for Nava. TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter Adoption Fees:
Puppies up to age 6 months- $225. Dogs that are 7 months to 7 years – $150. Dogs over 7 years old or who have been here longer than 6 months – $25. Cats/Kittens – $40. Cats over 7 years old or who have been here longer than 6 months – $25.
This fee includes: Spay/Neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick treatment and Avid microchip
