You know Mike Shinoda well. He has been half of the duo that has propelled Linkin Park to mega-stardom in the last twenty years. He has been a huge musical force in the band, writing loads of music, and lyrics, with his best friend Chester Bennington. Sadly, as we all know, we lost Chester last Summer.

For Shinoda, it’s been a time of healing, and a time of moving forward. Instead of placing pressure on the legacy of Linkin Park, by trying to move forward with a new singer, or a new album as they are, he has decided to go solo. Shinoda has recorded a batch of new songs, and today on the Morning X, I debuted the new single, “Crossing A Line.” The song is reminiscent of Linkin, but has it’s own personal feel and attitude from Mike.
