So, Toni Cornell is Chris Cornell’s Daughter, and despite her young age, she certainly has her Father’s talent as a vocalist. Last week, Linkin Park were due to perform on Good Morning America, and obviously, with the loss of Chester Bennington, that performance was cancelled. In their place, Toni Cornell and the members of One Republic on GMA, and she performed the beautiful song, “Hallelujah”, the Leonard Cohen classic.

Toni told the crowd, “It’s an honor to perform this for my Dad and Chester and to sing for them”, she said. One Republic’s vocalist Ryan Tedder added,  “Chester sang this at Chris’ funeral, and this is arguably one of the greatest songs written in the last 50 years.” Toni Cornell was wearing a Soundgarden shirt, and hundreds in the crowd were driven to tears and quite emotional over the performance. It certainly is an amazing performance, and it makes you wonder if we might see Toni Cornell performing and singing at some point.
