Here at the X, we are continuously debuting new Rock, and this week, we launched the latest song from the New Orleans band The Revivalists. These guys have a throw back soulful sound, reminiscent of late 1970’s R&B, and feel good funk Rock. This seven piece band started in 2007, and they have been releasing music and albums since then. The band is led by Ed Williams on pedal steel guitar, and singer songwriter David Shaw. The bands latest album, ‘Men Amongst Mountains’ in the Summer of 2015, and Rolling Stone magazine named them one of the ’10 bands you need to know’ that same year. This new album is full of soulful songs, combining a unique alternative and roots rock sound. Enjoy the Revivalists, on the X!
