It’s here! Brand new Linkin Park has been dropped, and it’s very interesting. You have the instant familiarity of Chester Bennington’s vocals, and on this new song, he’s letting all out. Deep, personal lyrics, a heartfelt plea, as it were. The new song is titled “Heavy”, and it sounds like a song that just might have a deep look back at his personal struggles. Chester experienced divorce and some other personal challenges in recent years, so, that could be the tie in. Bottom line, the chorus for this song is addictive. You find yourself singing along immediately, and it just stays with you.

“Heavy” also showcases the female vocals of the artist known as ‘Kiiara’, and she stands out with amazing ability. The song is lacking the crunching guitars that Linkin is known for, but this song is an obvious ballad. However, the signature sound of Linkin is here, and it’s damn good. Something tells me that the angst and guitars are forthcoming on the full length album. SO….enjoy it! New Linkin is here!
