Yep, there apparently is a Ronnie James Dio ‘Hologram’, and it’s pretty amazing. The hologram in question is making it’s U.S. debut in just a few days in February, six months after the debut at a German Music Festival. The new ‘Dio Hologram’ will make it’s debut with a Dio tribute band, the ‘Dio Disciples’ on February 2nd in Los Angeles. The performance will be at the ‘Novo’, the site of this year’s ‘Pollstar Awards.’

This ‘Hologram’ performance is a precursor to a major tour showcasing the the hologram, with the ‘Dio Disciples’, which is set to hit multiple cities across the U.S. this Spring and Summer. Dio’s wife Wendy approved of the tour and hologram plans, and was wowed by the end results. So, if you are a Dio lunatic here in Peoria, get ready for the first ever ‘Hologram’ tour with a major artist. This tour could set the table for more ‘hologram’ tours with other late artists in the future. Rock!
