Kristine Meredith Flaherty is from Wilmette, Illinois, and is known to the music and Rock world as ‘K.Flay.’ She’s been known more for her ‘rap’ style, and her unique vocals and synthesizer meets heavy drums sound. She’s very alternative sounding, and instantly contagious. Her new EP is out on Interscope Records, titled ‘Crush Me’, and the first single is the song “Blood In The Cut”, a song that hits you like a truck.

“Blood In The Cut” has a rhythmic bass line, K.Flay’s instantly hypnotic vocal sound, and heavy ass drums. The song sounds like something that Trent Reznor may have produced. You certainly hear a ‘industrial’ influence, along with rap and hip-hop. “Blood In The Cut” debuts on the X this week, hope you like! We certainly do!
