So, I’m pretty jacked up about RED SUN RISING coming to Peoria for our annual Avanti’s Nutcracker next week. This all American kick ass band hails from Akron, Ohio, and have had two back to back Rock number one Rock songs this past year. Amazing. Their album, “Polyester Zeal” is damn good, one of the best of the last two years. Yep, the Avanti’s Nutcracker has been our annual Holiday event, and this year is pretty damn exciting. Aterra Tale opens the show, a great new band from Central Illinois, along with new rockers CITIZEN ZERO, and our headliners POP EVIL. It’s a great lineup this year, and RED SUN RISING is going to slam it home with a full set before Pop Evil.

Red Sun Rising are also shooting for their third number ONE single off this album. Their new song, “Amnesia”, is filled with great riffs, pounding drums, and an awesome sing along chorus. You hear a little Alice In Chains in their sound, which is certainly not a bad thing. “Amnesia” is currently in the top 15 on the Rock chart. So, grab your friends, you significant others, even your Grandparents…let’s party on the 16th!! See you at the Limelight!
