10. Breaking Benjamin – Angels Fall
Breaking Benjamin made their return to Peoria in September with Korn! And, as always, they rocked the midwest! Hopefully we get a new album in 2017 and see them back!!!

8. Disturbed – Sound of Silence
This video has almost 150 MILLION views! This song blew UP the rock world with this killer cover. Hope we can get them back to central Illinois in 2017.
7. Shinedown – State of My Head
Shinedown made their return to Peoria a few weeks ago with Five Finger Death Punch and it was nothing less than spectacular! These are some of the most gracious rockers on the planet, and we wish them nothing but continued success as they hold the torch for rock music going into 2017!
6. Red Hot Chili Peppers – Dark Necessities
When Morning X host Matt Bahan heard that the Chili Peppers were putting out a new album, he walked around the office half-mast for weeks! We also gave away tickets to their Chicago show in 2017. Keep listening for your next chance to win!
5. Volbeat – Devil’s Bleeding Crown
One of our die-hard Xers from Kewanee won the flyaway to Minneapolis to see them with A7X and Metallica at the new US Bank Stadium! This band continues to impress and grow in popularity with the rock world! Must be those sexy accents. Or, they just plain f&#kin rock! One of the two.
4. Muse – Reapers
In 2017, Muse will be headlining a lot of big festivals overseas. This band continues to push the envelope when it comes to writing music and this song rocks!
3. Five Finger Death Punch – My Nemesis
Five Finger Death Punch continues to rock cities across the country and even stopped by Peoria for another killer rock show! Ivan was even backstage recording vocals for….? Hopefully a new album in 2017! Yes please!!!
2. Nothing But Thieves – Trip Switch
Trip Switch was quite possibly one of the catchiest songs heard on 105.7 The X all year! And you requested the hell out of it!
1. Kaleo – Way Down We Go
Kaleo made a name for themselves this year, not only to the rock world, but to the music world in general. Don’t be surprised to hear more from this band in the future!!!
