Adam Ruins Everything, formerly of Funny Or Die, has his own TV show on truTV.  Finally a channel that lives up to it’s name.  If you are unfamiliar with Adam, he ruins some of the most talked about myths or drops truth bombs on things you never questioned.  One of my favorite videos is when he ruins purebred dogs.

On his new TV show that debuted last fall, he has plenty of time to tear apart so many different topics from funerals to jaywalking.  Like I mentioned, a lot of the topics he covers are not things we think about on a day to day basis.  Before any one cries fowl, this is one of the first YouTube videos I have seen that presents sources for the facts they present.  I know sources are hard to come by as so many people on the internet think they know everything, but a little research never hurts.

In this clip, Adam tears apart herpes.  So many of us dread the thought of ever coming in contact with this terrible S.T.I., when most sexually active adults have already been exposed to some form of this disease.  I’m not saying that we should go around licking cold sores, but it’s just not as bad as you might think.  Adam clearly tells it better than I do.  If you are still not a believer, check the sources listed in the video.

Remember, knowledge is power.  Try not to spend the rest of the night getting soaked up in these videos.  I know I did.
