Lemmy Kilmister was a Rock “Icon”, and his friendships and loyalty with countless musicians in the world of ‘Rock’ are well documented. This past Saturday, ‘Lemmy’ was eulogized by many, but rockers that we know well, Slash and Dave Grohl, gave two of the most heartfelt speeches about the fallen leader of Motorhead. The memorial service was a beautiful service, that had hundreds come and give their respects to their friend.
The ‘after’ service and world wide ‘Toast’ at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on West Hollywood in California was a fitting send off for him as well. Broadcast world wide via the internet, the toast was seen and acknowledged by millions. Gonna miss ya’, Lemmy! Sadly, we keep losing our icons, as David Bowie died last night as well. Sad start of the year. Bummed!
