Danielle’s a 21-year-old model, bartender, and certified Nursing Assistant from Greenfield, Indiana who now lives in Indianapolis.

Her first big modeling gig was an appearance in the 2011 Hooters calendar. Next up for ‘Dan O Baby’ was her role as one of the ‘Twisties’ in a promo video for Playboy and PSP title, “The 3rd Birthday”, which you can see below. Though she’s fairly new to the game, Hooters and Playboy are a pretty decent start.

When she’s not modeling, she loves boating and the usual hot girl activities – working out and laying out.

So as I was wandering the internet today I came across the story of the Family Arena down near St. Louis. They have just singed a deal to become the home of the new St. Louis Lingerie Football League team. So this got me thinking, why can’ t Peoria have a team? Ever since we lost the Peoria Pirates there has not been arena football at the Civic Center. This would solve that in a heartbeat. I am pretty sure this new team would pull in more people than the Pirates ever did. This seems like a no brainier to me Xers, check out some Lingerie Football action and tell me I am wrong.

We would just have to come up with a name for the team. Leave a comment below with what you would call the team.

This is off their new self titled album that is in stores right now. I want to know what you Xers think of it. Will the new single “Play In Peoria” as the old saying goes? Make sure you vote and let us know what you think!

In anticipation of the concert I’ve been featuring some of my favorite tunes from our headliner Shinedown, today it’s the song “Devour”. This was the first single released off of 2008′s “The Sound of Madness” which was the third studio release from the band. “Devour” is so far Shinedown’s fastest rising single reaching the top 5 of the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in four weeks. Singer-guitarist Brent Smith says that a trip he took in 2006 to Iraq inspired him to write the song. After meeting soldiers and seeing what they lived with everyday the song just sort of came to him. He said he chose the word devour because the soldiers are “devoured by hate, devoured by love, devoured by confusion, devoured by the fact that you don’t know if you’ll make it to tomorrow”. In a countdown interview he even said the song was a letter to the President, George W. Bush, and his distaste towards him.

We will also discuss Ivan Moody and his manic and intense stage presence. In my meetings with Ivan, he has been one of the most energetic and down to earth guys ever. He also knows how to connect with his audience. This entire band is honest, and are the real deal. There is no lame ass pretentiousness. The fans know it, the music speaks it. This tree was just a little to close to the power lines. You may want to jump to 3:40 into the video, that is when things really get going, but once they do HOLY SHIT! This tree just BURSTS into flames. You can see the fire start to pule then BOOM! Check it out!

This is some crazy shit. It just proves that you should NEVER mess with power lines, even if you are a tree. What to know what is even more messed up? The guy filming this did not know this was going to happen. He only came to:

look at some pallets about a block from our house.

How freaking bored do you have to be to go look at some pallets? Take this lesson to heart Xers, never mess with power lines, and if you ever find yourself wanting to go look at some pallets make sure to bring a camera!

This new single is off the upcoming album “Murdered Love” that should be out on July 10th of this year. This will be the bands 8th studio album. Marcos Curiel says the new album is:

The day before he was set to leave his mother told him to go after every dream he’s ever wanted, even though she had told him his dreams were unrealistic. She continued to say that after he signed the deal, she realized that he knows exactly what he wants to do.

“Second Chance” was the second single off of the album “The Sound of Madness” and is the biggest single from Shinedown.Tell us about your “Second Chance” were you given one or did you give one? How did it work out?

Every Wednesday Jenna posts a new video on youtube and really they are hilarious, this is an old one but another Jenna gem!

Fast forward to 2012, and we have a new generation of Beasties fans. Film maker James Winters produced the video all over again, this time featuring his two young kids and nephew reenacting the roles of the Beastie Boys. The end result was awesome. This might be the best Beastie Boys tribute yet. So, kudos to Mr. Winters and his youngsters, well done boys!

While rock may be a male dominated world, when the women speak, they do so loudly. Two great examples of that are Amy Lee and her band Evanescence and Lzzy Hale with Halestorm. The two leading ladies have been crossing paths lately and have nothing but kind and supportive words for each other.

In a recent interview with 106.5 The End at last weekend’s Carolina Rebellion (May 12), Amy Lee raved about Hale and her masterful pipes. “I love her voice, she has a beautiful voice,” Lee said. “I had heard their [Halestorm] music. I went to check her out live to see if it was the real deal and she’s the real deal. She has a voice like … power! She’s powerful.”

With not a lot of female fronted bands on the rock circuit Lee talked about the experience of seeing Halestorm live. “I look forward to it,” she expressed. “I can get juiced up and inspired.”

Lee and Evanescence, currently out on tour in support of their latest self-titled disc also dished on the rules of the road. As seasoned vets, they definitely have some insight. “Always carry baby wipes, because some days you just can’t catch a shower,” reports Lee. “Hydrate, you have to drink a little or else you’re not going to be able to rock like you need to.”

When asked who they were most looking forward to seeing that day, Lee couldn’t name just one band, “We have friends here,” she admitted. “We love Korn. Chevelle – who we know, we’re going to tour with the later this year.” Evanescence will be overseas through the beginning of July. The tour with Chevelle has not yet been officially announced so fans certainly have that to look forward to.

The internet also gives us a chance to check out what the hell is going on in other countries. I am not talking about the stuff you could easily hear on the news, I mean like crazy commercials or TV shows they have. With that in mind I found this gem of a commercial for a British cookie company. I have never had one of their cookies, so they could be great. This commercial however is not making me what to try one.

So crazy cookie monkey things sell cookies in England? What is even worse is the name of the video/commercial: “A Certain Gooey Thing”. Are you shitting me?!?! I have “A Certain Gooey Thing” that makes life in general, and you don’t see me talking about it in a commercial with a freaky monkey cookie hybrid thing! This just shows how crazy TV is over in England. What the hell man? What the bloody hell…..

For the amount of time I spent playing today you would think I would be much farther in it. I am really taking my time though and looking for as many Easter eggs as I can find. So far I love what I have seen. My monk is bad ass, just like I hoped he would be when I heard that was a playable class. I can not wait to jump in and play all the other classes as well. I think this is a strong contender for  game of the year! What do you Xers think? And if you do not have a copy of this game yet, you should really get on it, you will not regret it! This is why my monk is so freaking cool.

Don’t get me wrong, I love watching someone get kicked in the balls, but this is a real dick move.

In regards to covers albums as of late, have you noticed that many bands have decided to go this route? Puddle Of Mudd just did their covers album last Fall to lukewarm fan response. It seems as if a covers album is an easy way to get back on the road and support a new album, without killing yourself struggling to get new original material out there. Sure, you can be inspired to re-record classic rock staples, but, let’s be honest, it’s not like any rock fan is jumping  up and down excited to hear songs that they have heard countless times already. I will say this, Godsmack do a great job on “Rocky Mountain Way”, and as long as a new original album is coming soon, all is forgiven. So, enjoy the new Godsmack, we are cranking up “Rocky Mountain Way” liberally here on the X!

They have just released the lyric video for the song “Lost In Paradise”. Evanescence continue their world tour with shows starting next week in Morocco, than start a month long trek all over Europe. Check out the lyric video.
