Jack White has always mesmerized critics and fans alike. This past week, he did it again. How odd is it that his last three bands, the 'White Stripes', 'The Dead Weather' and 'The Raconteurs' all fell short of debuting at Number one on the album chart. How even more odd is it that Jack's first solo album, the unique "Blunderbuss" slammed the charts at Number one this past week with 138,000 copies sold. Nice work, Jack! The album has stormed the chats with the help of his new single, "Sixteen Saltines." The 'White Stripes' came very close to number one in 2007 with 'Icky Thump', but they never reached it.
