What's up Xers?  I'm Ryan Black.  Grew up in a poodunk town called Manteno about an hour south of Chicago.  My goal in life through my H.S. years was to tour in my metal band with Ozzfest.  Instead, I decided to go to ISU and graduated in 4 years with a Degree in Mass Communications and also aquired a Math Minor.  I get phone calls people saying things like "I have kids, how could you say something like that?"  My response is, "I could be teaching your kids!"

How did you get into radio? Well, I was going to college at W.I.U. bouncing from major to major, then I started dating a girl in broadcasting, I ended up doing half of her homework for a semester, and figured hey this is fun, so I change my major, and dumped her. And found my way to Peoria about 5 years ago, and been working at TV stations and the X ever since.
