Car Crash Sends Truck Down Steep Ravine in Peoria [PHOTOS]

Coming home from work yesterday I noticed something I have always thought would happen.  A truck, with trailer attached, flew down the steep ravine on the corner of War Memorial and Allen road.  Do you think he put his hands in the air like a roller coaster?

According to CIProud:

Five people, including a child, are treated for minor injuries after a four-car accident that left a truck at the bottom of a steep ravine Thursday morning.  It happened around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Charter Oak Road and War Memorial in Peoria.  Police say the driver of a truck, carrying a trailer, was headed eastbound on War Memorial and lost control of his vehicle.  That’s when he drove over an embankment at the intersection, through three vehicles and fell more than fifty yards into an adjacent ravine.

According to Police reports, thankfully no one was seriously injured.
