Balloons on the Prairie is approaching! This is a weekend long event held July 11th & 12th, with all proceeds dedicated to OSF Hospice. The event will be held near the OSF Saint Francis Center for Health in Peoria, located off Route 91 near The Shoppes at Grand Prairie. Friday, July 11, 2008 5:00p.m. – 9:30p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008 4:00p.m. – 10:00p.m.
Great Family Entertainment all Weekend Long! Enjoy daily hot air balloon flights, tethered balloon rides, evening balloon glows, fireworks, music, food and fun! There will also be activities for kids, including Fun on the Run, Rock Wall, face painting and more. Admission is just $10 per carload. Tickets for tethered rides are $15 each and will be sold at the event, weather permitting. There is no minimum age for tethered rides. The grounds, as well as one hot air balloon, will be handicap accessible as well.
The gates will open at 5pm on Friday, July 11th, and 4pm on Saturday, July 12th.

Please remember to bring a lawn chair or blanket as seating will be limited.
